Me? I am a Registered Nurse working on advancing my degree. I have a minor in biological sciences and was in the college Honors program, have certification in BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advaced Life Support) and I have had instructor certifications in the first two of those. I have worked in Medical/Surgical, Oncology, Renal, Pediatrics, Telemetry, Transitional/Rehabilitative Care, and Intensive/Cardiac Care environments, with the last one being my "specialty" and supervisory experience in ICU/CCU and Medical/Surgical units. And that is all about me.

Here on my site you will find I am a "political Junkie", and have been called an "ultra-liberal" by those on the right, and I wear that title proudly. I post on Politics (national & Kentucky), world events, medicine, nursing, science, civil rights and g/l/b/t issues primarily, but have been known to stray from those on occasion. Most of my posts contain hyperlinks to the sources or stories I discuss, to allow you as the reader to see the information I present first hand. I would prefer you to read it for yourself rather than taking my word for it anyways, and then you can make up your own mind. I believe, the more you know, the more left you swing in today's U.S. political system, which has become skewed with propaganda and deceptions. If you want the truth in todays world, you have to look for it. And that is the purpose of my blog, to make that easier for you, and to present it in as entertaining and diverse manner as I can.
