Comments from Friends, or not exactly friends welcome here, I think, from what I have been reading, we all agree that we liked the old system better. And it is NOT just an issue of "bugs" either. I thought those of us who feel that way, could send a message like this, or we could all post a blog each asking for it. An Inter-blog petition. I put why I am personally frustrated with it on my last post, from the now dead links, the drop in readers, loss of feeds, we all have reasons the old system was better. As Hazel put it, this is too sterile, and as Alfredo said, its "lost that loving feeling". So fellow blogsters, what do you say??? I would give up any of these feature, new or old, for the old system ANYDAY! We all here appreciate the work and effort the team has put into this new format & we don't want to hurt anyones feelings or doubt their capabilities as computer programmers, but this is too much.

sO IT'S A YES YES YES FROM ME. SUE, SKYEBLUE.
I hate the new Blogster!!!!!!!!!!!I want the old Blogster back.I know that they thought they were doing us a favor...NOT.I hate this new place.[thumbsdown]
I'm not a fancy blogger--the basics are good enough for me and the old blogger was easy to use.
Now whether they would even entertain the idea of going back is another story--I think they may feel they have put in too much time, effort and money to go back.
Plus some of your 'friends' may not want to go back because they can be private here and say whatever they want about you!!!
Private or not never stopped them before. Besides, private isn't as private as they think, blogster still has some bugs, and there are external ways to still get a peak....Is all I am saying about that...LOL
Yea, they put time into blogster, but MOST OF US HAVE PUT IN MORE! And they should respect that, our loyalty, and our willingness to try their new stuff. We did, it sucks, time to trash it. That or they can lose customers, and thus revenues.
This iste is a mess and that hard working wrecking crew hasn't been on since Thursday...the first beta version worked better then this...This is a great study on how not to treat customers? I'm shocked frankly...and what happened to the spell checker?
But what's the use...this site is pathetic...
I am looking forward to being able to customize it so I can make it a little unique compared to everyone else's, though.

I tried to post earlier using a text browser but couldn't. This isn't about minor bugs, it's about serious issues like accessibility. It sucks.
PS: Hope you're doing well.
If you read Strider's post from a few days ago and Johnathan's reply it explains why they can't go back to the old blogster according to Johnathan. There are things that I miss from the old one too for sure. There are some things on here that I like. Take a moment and read his comment and maybe that will help.

At the old Blogster I felt a part of the community. I sensed the ripples in the tide so to speak the ebb and flow. Now, I feel separated.
Almost all of my contacts overseas have an account with blogger. It's elegant in its simplicity.
I logged-in just to answer your request.
YES!
The 'old' Blogster was 1) a better format, easier to use and had more features; 2) better working when the system was crowded with Bloggers; 3) more people-friendly and less juvenile-looking; 4) easier to design your own look and feel; and, Finally, had far less complaints.
In the meantime, I'm going to the blog I use now. Have a great Monday!
