I'm not familiar with Mike from Air America-I'm sure he's on the money in his right wing observations. As I think I had said before, I don't have speakers to listen to your video blogs ;;;) Fox is the like the "National Enquirer" of television Jim but has little entertainment or camp value unless you're talking about Geraldo NOW...LOL...who has sold his soul (money hungry whore he is!!) to the devil or Rubert Murdoch-one and the same!! Other channels had tired of big mouth Rivera so he went towards the conserative end of the spectrum but again he was alway chummy with the gossip columnists from the New York Post like AJ Benza and Cindy Adams. If you ever watch his show on Fox, he is so "over the top" and campy that I'm sure John Waters will be casting him in his next feature film any day now *G* Rivera featured stories on Chris Benoit last night and his production so GAYYYYY....Fox plays this melodramatic, soap opera-ish music as Geraldo narrates the story in a bombastic, staccato, LOUD tone......you can't keep your eyes off him and obviously the money must be real good for him to be so bad on cable television....hahaha!!!!

It is a tabloid of TV news. [LOL][LOL] Hey I like Waters, you should hear his commentary on Mommie dearest, laugh your ass off! Geraldo went downhill years ago, I try and avoid him. Wasn't it some kind of vault or something that turned out to be a dud that destroyed him. I want to say Al Capone, but I am not sure on that....[HUH][COOL]

Oh, and a second thought i just had, before I got speakers, I would put headphones in the speaker port on my laptop and it would work to let me hear. I don't know if that would work for your computer or not, but I thought I would tell ya about it...[WINK][SMILE]

I used to be addicted to his afternoon talk show back in the nineties and he was a correspondant for 20/20 for awhile. Yeah, he was supposed to find the corpse of some villain, ABC has this BIG SPECIAL and tah do about it, and the vault was empty. OOPS Geraldo, you lose!!! Heh...heh...

I remember that show, it wasn't that bad back then. But I never was a big news watcher in the 90s to be honest, the college years (still a blur)[LOL][LOL][LOL]

I am just wondering how many people have been listening to/watching Fox News?

Do the organizers know about the studies? Do they really want to make people stupid.

I am glad that I (surprisingly) could open this clip

[LOL]I think they do know exactly what they are doing...The less people know, the more they are compliant with this criminal administration.

Fox News currently leads the cable news market in the United States, earning higher points ratings than its chief competitors CNN and MSNBC combined by average viewership.[12][13][14] While more people are actively watching Fox News Channel at any given time, CNN still remains the leader in unique viewers.[15]

The BBC reported that Fox News saw its profits double during the Iraq conflict. By some reports, at the height of the conflict they enjoyed as much as a 300% increase in viewership, averaging 3.3 million viewers daily.[16]

In 2004, the gain in ratings became more apparent. In September, Fox News Channel's ratings for its broadcast of the Republican National Convention beat those of all three broadcast networks. During President Bush's address, Fox News notched 7.3 million viewers nationally, while NBC, CBS, and ABC scored ratings of 5.9, 5.0, and 5.1, respectively.

That is part of what is wrong here. Murdoch owns 39% of our media outlets, and wants to buy the Wall Street Journal on top of that!

Thanks for the information and the nice comments. I love "wikipedia".

I have a problem with the approved legislation increasing monopoly owned media to 39%. Regardless of WHO that 39% is, it is wrong! An example would be an actual "financial" democracy. Something to think about. I know many will not get that remark but I know you will.

I, too, have a problem with Murdoch purchasing the Wall Street Journal. That is a scary thing.

er, a "direct financial democracy" [BLUSH]
