Fox's War on Liberals.

June 3, 2007 / by ekyprogressive

Liberal boogieman going to eat ya....BlaHHHH.... Good Grief..

Why must fox perpetuate this polarization in America? Why must voices of dissent be seen as villains?

Bill even attacks the vets..

The Democrats gained majorities and then did nothing with them.
FOX is only picking over the liberal cadaver for tidbits.
  • ekyprogressive said 1 years ago
and it just keeps people from listening to anyone who says anything against the administration. Keeping the population "dumbed down"[MAD][SAD]

FOX uses the brainwashing tactic of repeating lies. They augment this by never listening or sticking to a coherent topic.

Fox is not a "news" organization, giving both sides of a story equal balance and respect. Its motivations are political. They don't let journalism get in the way of their point of view.

Eky... I find it kind of funny that you used one of Rush Limbaughs favorite phrases..."dumbed down"[SMILE] Yes...I'm sure it wasn't intentional.

I don't agree with the assesment that ALL of Fox News is not "news". There is a lot of news and YES, much of their coverage IS political. Especially their evening programs. How you could say "Hanity and Colmes" isn't ballanced I don't know.

I happen to like the fact that they are so political. I like to hear the more conservative side. The liberal side has the vast majority of the rest of the news outlets. Very little conservative views come from them from all I have heard and seen.

Obviously I won't be popular with your liberal friends eky... just trying to keep your site "fair and ballanced" [LOL]
  • ekyprogressive said 1 years ago
Hey, I like hearing all sides, I don't want to get lost in the woods. I can give a thousand reasons fox is not fair or balanced. Did you hear the way Hannity went on ranting at Ron Paul for one after the debates....YIKES. You should check media matters some time. Oh yea, Fox tells people they are a Leftist site and not to go there. If they were really "fair and balanced" wouldn't they encourage going to all sites, even far right and far left, wouldn't that be "fair" instead of saying just listen to me...[SMILE]

you should read about Murdochs involvement with PNAC, in by previous post
  • ekyprogressive said 1 years ago
Plus, didn't you hear how O'riley tagged nazi war crimes on WWII vets? then they altered the transcripts. Doesn't that seem underhanded to you?
  • psycho60s said 1 years ago
Oh...I've already read your Murdoch post. I didn't say I buy EVERYTHING Fox puts out. I just like having someone who presents the conservative viewpoint at times.

I have sincerely tried to look at liberal/left sites. I just can't get very far. What I have seen so far I just cannot believe. Sorry, but most of it is trash that I have seen. Maybe I just haven't looked in the right spot. The ones I have visited are so opposed to my own beliefs and ideas that I just can't believe what they say.

I'll probably give it another shot. We'll see.

"Sorry, but most of it is trash that I have seen."===Get online and look up PNACs website. they have one. Read the documents for yourself. You will be stunned...

Like I say on my profile page, if something is incorrect, please give me references, show me. I would rather be accurate. But if I think something is conspiratorial I say so, or if I question it I let my readers know. Otherwise, I fully feel what I put here is Fact.
  • psycho60s said 1 years ago
I didn't say what you post is not FACT as far as you are concerned. I am saying that I vehemently dissagree with most of the web sites you have linked here and their opinions.
  • psycho60s said 1 years ago
Oh...on O'Reily. Yup.......somebody blew it big time....more than once!! I'll bet you can pick any person or news organization and find plenty of mistakes. I'm not saying what O'Reily did was right....I'm just saying that they all make mistakes.

Sorry but I think that Mr. Donahue is over the top. I'm not happy with the way things are going either but, there are extremes and to me he is one of the examples.

I remember growing up Phils show was big and many people loved it. But he has been against most wars that I can recall. See i think Bill was over the top shouting and such..but that is just me..[LOL][COOL][SMILE]
  • ChihulahuaLover said 1 years ago
Yes I too remember when Phil's show was on too. I watched it some but then quit. His views and mine were 99 % of the time at the opposite ends.[WINK][ROLLEYES][HEART]

Well, I just heard on the news (not FOX) that June '07 was the month that had the most casualties of this "war." This seems to be getting worse. Well, at least Phil Donahue could hold his own against O'Reilly! Olbermann (will have to look up the spelling) ..... well, what can I say? I suppose I really agree with these people because I am really against wars (which I feel are not necessary), having lost my dad after he had a short stint at the very end of one...... It took him a long time to die and it was painful to watch. Well..... as I said, what can I say? [SAD][SAD]

If they were good, wouldn't he have made sure they were around to boast about? Especially planning a career in politics. Or if he had gone to Alabama like he claimed, wouldn't a commander have seen him...

"The Alabama unit's commanders say they never saw Bush or any paperwork showing he performed drills there. A January 1973 document says Bush got a dental examination at the Alabama unit's base."
