McSame: "Women need more Education"

Wow, I thought it was bad enough that republicans had decided that equal pay for women was out of the question. But John "Didn't bother to show up" McCain had something to say about it at least...

Senator McCain: Stop Insulting Women

After the Senate recently failed to get the 60 votes necessary to force an up-or-down vote on the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act, Senator John McCain said that widespread
gender-based pay inequity isn't due to discrimination. In his view,
women just need more
"education and training" to close the wage gap...

Ouch, At least with us gays, its just because they don't like us, not because they think we are stupid. But anyway, this tactic isn't really going to help him much, especially with the latest report showing that the Democrats have more of the Electoral college votes ahead of them anyway.

Now, I know many of you are sick of the Obama vs Hillary struggle, and many on the right like to say that it is going to cause the democrats to lose. But let me ask you, is it really? Take Pennsylvania, for example. This year they hit the record for number of people who registered to vote for the Democratic primaries with over 4 million people (compaired to 3.2 million republicans registered in that state)! Unlike the Republican party, our race is getting all of our attention, is requiring all of us to participate and will require the voices of every state to give their preferences. That is alot of participation, too much I believe to just throw it all away if they are burnt out or dissatisfied with the final results or nominee in November. Especially with McSame as the republican alternative, much to the displeasure of true hardcore conservative republicans.

Some are even trying to cross over and vote for Hillary as some of you have heard. I say go ahead, that just interferes with their ability to vote for republican local and senate primaries in their states, which could also turn out to be a shot in their own foot, if a veto proof democratic majority emurges in the senate. Imagine, McSame more lame duck than Bush. OUCH!

"Ouch, At least with us gays, its just because they don't like us, not because they think we are stupid."  [LOL][LOL][LOL]

As to Hillary and Obama, I've been sick of those two for a LONG time!  As you know, I do not trust either of them.  The one thing I do feel that the majority of democrats do that is detrimental to this country is to ONLY consider a democrat for office.  I think that is just as bad as the republicans who are that way.  Neither way is right.  The candidate is what is importnat and we all know who the only REAL, TRUE Constitutionalist is.

Anyway, I think it is importnat for progressives to consider the alternatives because Obamba is to NOT be trusted.  I am an Ilinoian, I know what I am talking about. Wink

I am sure you know Obama better than any of us, but right now the alternatives are McSame and Hill (both of which suck rotten eggs!). So Obama for me seems like the lesser of the evils. We are stuck with one of the three, you know that...Frown

You know, this just hit me, individuals such as myself are intense thinkers and we analyze everything in an effort to understand how the universe works and how everythng flows so.  In doing so, people such as myself can predict outcomes in any given situation where we have soulfully pondered the cause and effects of such situation.

It does not take an education to think.  But, it does take experience in thinking to know that it does not take an education to think.  Those who do not think for themselves and must be taught everything by books and teachers, do not fully understand what is required to be self taught.

Women are natural analyzers because they think incessitantly.  Typically, men do not.

John McCain's statement speaks profoundly of his belief in being "trained" rather than thinking independently and to be rewarded for such tremendous and beneficial independent efforts.
