The MSNBC news show, Keith Olberman, one of the few next to Jon Stewart and Steven Colbert who actually talk about whats going on in the world, had this recent interesting clip about pentigon spying on protesters.

It amazes me that these neocons want to spy on citizens and such when one of the "fathers of the Neoconservative movement", Leo Strauss, was so anti-nazi but who erroniously felt that liberalism was the cause of the nazi rise to power. I know, to these people black has always been white and day has always been night. The basic premise of being liberal means that everyone has rights, equal rights, and no one has more rights than anyone else. The basis of conservativism, is tradition, is intolerance to change or new or different, perhaps due to something in their rearing. And yet as you seen in the article on Strauss, he was a teacher of such PNAC contributers and neocons such as Pearle, Wolfowitz, Keyes, and more.

For more about the neoconservatives and Leo Strauss, check this great documentary from the BBC: The power of Nightmares, pt 1, the power of nightmares pt 2 & the power of nightmares pt 3.

Anyway, beware of Big Brother, you remember how easily they decide someone is a threat...

In related news, if you ask about the Illegal wire tapping, your states get into legal troubles. If they liked you snooping they wouldn't have closed access to EPA libraries, now would they. I mean what would they want to hide regarding past performances on the environment or environmental protection?
